Foot Golf
Pebble Creek is excited to announce we are an accredited FootGolf facility! Come out and give it a try on the Local 9. For those who are unfamiliar with FootGolf, it’s a new hybrid game of golf and soccer. It uses the golf course landscape, but players kick a soccer ball. You can tee off from the normal teeing grounds, and then proceed to kick your ball down the fairway. As you approach the green, you’ll notice a special orange flag, short of the green. This flag marks the 22″, that’s not a typo it’s almost two feet around, cup to kick your ball in. It’s dug into the ground like a normal cup on the green. It’s a fun way for adults, kids and families to get out and enjoy a day on the links. If you need it, we have soccer balls here for rental.
To make a tee time, just call the golf shop as you normally would and ask for a tee time on the Local 9 to play FootGolf. Stop in at the pro shop when you check in and we’ll get you all set up. Spikes are not allowed on the course, only turf shoes or tennis shoes may be worn to play.
Rates for FootGolf are $5 for kids under 16 years old and $10 for anybody over 16 years of age. Soccer ball rental is $5.
Come out and play! Take advantage of the newest way for you to enjoy the facilities at Pebble Creek Golf Club. For more information about FootGolf click here. Watch the video below about the new and exciting game coming to Pebble Creek!
Fling Golf
New to Pebble Creek this year and available to play on the Local 9. FlingGolf is a hybrid between lacrosse and golf. You only need a few golf balls and a Fling Stick to play. No carrying that heavy bag around anymore, just a few balls in your pocket and the Fling Stick and you’re all set.
FlingGolf® is an exciting new sport that is played on a golf course, with a golf ball, alongside golfers, and scored the same way as golf. Most people can start playing within a few minutes and
quickly become proficient using their own flinging (throwing) techniques. You use the same tee boxes, same greens and cups as normal golf you just advance the ball in a slightly different manner!
It’s easy to learn, kids, adults, families anybody can do this and enjoy it. It’s a great way to get out on the course and spend some time with your family. It’s only $5 for juniors under the age of 16 and $10 for everybody else. Fling sticks are available for rent as well at $5.
You can download a complete getting started guide right here. It explains the rules, the most common techniques for Flinging and some of the penalties you may choose to implement if you fling it into the water or another hazard on the golf course. For more info. on FlingGolf check out the web page.
